To have a new life, you must first have a new birth
NEW BIRTH? – HERE’S HOW:
John 3:1-7, 16-18
There was a man named Nicodemus. After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. He said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
“What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”
Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, you must be born again.”
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.”
Acts 2:21
But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Romans 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. (ESV)
2 Corinthians 5:17
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
+If you are ready to begin your new life in Jesus Christ, say this prayer to God:
Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the name of Jesus to ask you to please forgive me of every sin I have ever committed. I completely accept your love, grace and salvation. I believe that Jesus is your one and only Son and that He gave his own life as a substitute for mine. I believe Jesus has taken my sins on Himself so that I do not have to suffer their consequences. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior, and I believe in my heart that you raised him from the dead. Because I believe and accept this, I have been made right with you! I am now born again! Your word tells me that you will never reject anyone who comes to you for salvation. I believe I am saved and set free from my sins!
Thank you, Father! In Jesus name – Amen!
You may not feel any different at first. That’s OK! If you prayed that prayer sincerely, then God has heard you. He has made you a brand new person and has given you His Holy Spirit to live inside of you! Your new life has now begun!
HERE’S THE PROOF:
John 6:37
However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them.
Romans 8:14-16
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
2 Corinthians 1:21-22
It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.
Ephesians 1:13-14
And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
Colossians 1:27
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.
